Gavin Chanin's Pinot Noir from Sanford and Benedict is fantastic in 2019. It opens with a bouquet of wild black cherries, red currants, blood orange, and pomegranate, with secondary notes of leather, spice, fresh herbs and floral scents. On the palate this is light to medium bodied with lots of delicious flavors of sour cherry, red berries, earthy and spice. It is an elegant wine that should be exposed to some air contact or cellared for 2-4 years. This will be fantastic over the next 10-15 years.
