The Victor Francis Pinot Noir is a combination of completely destemmed fruit from Hyde, Calera, and 667 clones and rests in 75% new French oak barrels for a total of 16 months. In the glass, the wine shines with a medium brick-ruby core and an orange rim. Wild blueberry, red currant, red cherry, dried violet, spruce forest, ocean breeze, and sweet cinnamon stick flavors and aromas are all present. Flavorsome acidity, sweet rounded tannins, and a medium to full-body - it finishes with a handsome bitter herb and black pepper note on the back palate.
