The stunning 2021 Stand By Me Pinot Noir from Paul Lato features a light to medium neon purple core with a brickish rim. Very forestry on the nose with pine needles and Christmas spices taking center stage. Additional notes of hoisin sauce, boysenberry, wild huckleberry, toasted baking spice, and hints of game are also present. The palate is lively and focused, with rounded sweet tannins, perfect levels of acidity, and a lovely blue-fruit-driven finish. Highly recommended.
