A combination of whole-cluster fermentation was used in the 2020 John Sebastiano Pinot Noir. Aged for 16 months in 32% new French oak barrels, it boasts rich and powerful notes of red and blue plum, mountain boysenberry, black licorice, fennel seed, cedary herbs, and loads of yummy earthy notes. Tannins, acidity, and structure are all in check and carry the wine to a lengthy fruit-forward finish. Approximately 620 cases made.
