Gorgeous sweet baking spice notes explode on this Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir from the La Rinconada vineyard. It rests for 16 months in 28% new French oak barrels and pops with notes of sweet baked cherry pie, toasted anise, mountain sage, and pine needle. It’s a rich, balanced, and structured wine that hits all the right notes. It needs a year in the bottle before you dare to break it open, sporting high acidity, medium round tannins, and a crunchy red-fruit finish. Only 267 cases produced.
