A glimmering dark purple core with a neon pink rim in the glass, the 2020 Oakville Cabernet from Sojourn is aged in 75% new French oak barrels. Notes of blackberry, black currant, cassis, tobacco leaf, cedary herbs, and toasted vanilla bean are all present and wonderfully combined. Aggressive tannins, mouthwatering acidity, and a full-bodied mouthfeel dance off the tongue. It finishes with dark fruit and earthy notes. Better in 2024. Only 250 cases produced.
