DESERT WIND Cabernet Sauvignon, Wahluke Slope ‘Estate’ 2019

This Cabernet is a blend of 83% Cab, 11% Merlot, and 6% Syrah that is aged for 19 months in neutral French oak barrels. A nose of Christmas spices, dark cherry, dried orange peel, purple flowers, and sandalwood notes spill from the glass. Easy-drinking, fresh, with minimal tannin and mouthwatering acidity, it finishes fruit-forward with a slight peppery note. 1250 cases made.
