Talisman's Sadie's Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from an area west of Sebastopol in the Russian River Valley. It has a pretty nose, led by aromas of red berry, currant, pomegranate, followed by hints of spice, earthy scents and rose pedal. On the palate this has soft elegant tannins with inviting red fruit, berry and dried spice flavors that all expand on to the silky finish. While this is excellent in its youth, it should continue to gain further complexity as it evolves over the course of the next decade.
