This Pinot Noir comes from the Starscape Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, which is comprised of Laniger loam soils. The wine is made from co-fermented Dijon 777 and Pommard clones blended with the Dijon 828. Aromas of wild berries, fresh strawberry, and pomegranate, are followed by leather, forest floor, dried spice and a hint of pepper. On the palate this has a gorgeous round texture with a medium to medium plus body. Overall a simply delicious Pinot Noir that is showing beautifully today and should continue to evolve nicely over time.
