The Coopersmith Vineyard surrounds the Merry Edward winery and produces wines that are lighter on their feet than some of their other offerings. A nose driven by ripe red cherry and raspberry tones, also delivers complexity with some aromas of milk chocolate, celery seed and rye. Sturdy tannins and high acid form the core of the wine, with flavors of pomegranate, cranberry, graphite and a touch of sweet baking spices complete the offering. This wine drinks perfectly now but will age for another decade plus. 300 cases produced.
