A bit more restrained in style than the Russian River counterparts, this Pinot Noir is still made in a rich, extracted style that delivers ripe black cherry, sassafras, pencil shavings, chocolate covered orange and cedar aromas on the nose. Acidity dominates the core of the wine, with medium tannins and a full body completing the palate. I’d let this one rest for a few years before enjoying and then drink over the next 7-8 years.
