My second favorite from the Limerick Lane 2019 lineup. A blend of 56% Zinfandel, 37% Syrah, and 7% Petite Sirah make up this profound red blend which is hand selected from the best barrels of the estate vineyard. It is aged for 18 months in 14% new French oak barrels and is crushed with 10% whole cluster. Marionberry, black plum, dried hay, and pencil shavings pop in the glass. Black fruit, cracked peppercorn, dried poultry herbs and dusty country road form the base palate of this perfectly balanced and absolutely stunning wine. Enjoy over the next fifteen years. Only 211 cases produced. Highly recommended.
