2019 is turning into a stellar year for Limerick Lane as all of their wines have been wonderful. This mélange of 79% Syrah, 13% Grenache, 5% Viognier and 3% Petit Sirah that is aged for 18 months in only 4% new French oak. I love the black pepper and wet stone characteristic of this wine - it displays marionberry, blueberry, potpourri, black pepper charcuterie and black olive characters on the palate. Ample acidity, medium-high tannins and a full body create the backbone of this incredible Russian River Valley Syrah dominant blend. Only 160 cases produced.
