Smoky pencil shavings, black cherry, red plum and dried flower aromas all emerge from the 2018 Martaella Vineyard Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell. Mouth-watering acidity and sweet tannins balance perfectly with the flavors of huckleberry, cranberry, crushed wet stone and crushed coriander seed. This Pinot rests for 15 months in 40% new French oak which imparts some lovely baking spice to the finish. It’s a lovely effort and one that deserves a spot in your cellar. 693 cases produced.
