Aged for 15 months in 40% new French oak barrels this yummy Pinot Noir from the famed Bacigalupi Vineyard boasts notes of ripe macerated strawberry, black cherry and predominantly earthy notes of wet autumn leaves, dried alfalfa, and forest moss. Interesting and complex, the palate brings red currant, cranberry, fresh wild blueberry, eucalyptus, cola, and brown mushroom powder flavors to the mix. It’s an interesting and funky Pinot Noir that will be fun to see how it evolves over the years. Drink now or over the next 8 years. 623 cases produced.
