A lovely mélange of 71% Zinfandel, 23% Syrah, and 6% Petit Sirah that is aged for 17 months in 24% new French oak barrels and is fermented with 10% whole cluster. It’s assembled from the highest quality lots of the Estate to showcase what the winery can do at the highest levels. Aromas and flavors of dried mint, black cherry, pomegranate juice, white tobacco leaf, crushed wet stone, and dried violet flower. Insanely balanced, with impeccable structure and purity of fruit, it’s a wine that everyone should experience to see what Zinfandel can do at the highest levels. Better in 2023. Highly recommended. Just 98 cases produced.
