A vineyard located on the northeast corner of the Limerick Lane Estate, the 2020 Rocky Knoll is 99% Zinfandel, with the rest being Petite Sirah. It’s 100% destemmed during fermentation and spends 17 months in neutral French oak barrels. A bit of peppery spice hits the nose to begin, alongside glorious notes of fresh blackberry, wild blueberry, toasted baking spice, dusty country road, and scorched herbs. Delivering a full body with luscious acidity and slightly chalky tannins, put this one down for a year or two before enjoying. Just 170 cases produced.
