The Aperture 1912 Estate Blend is a field blend containing just about every variety under the sun. It begins with inviting aromas of cherries, plums and red berries which are joind by exotic spices, wild herbs, licorice and hints of tobacco all taking shape. The palate is medium-plus bodied and well-structured and possesses a bright core that bursts with flavors of bing cherries and plums as it shows wonderful sense of freshness through the finish. Overall, this is a lovely showing which I expect will develop beautifully in bottle over the next few years.
