The 2019 Durell Chardonnay from Gary Farrell was aged for nine months in 35% new French oak barrels and displays a lovely golden lemon core in the glass. Bountiful aromas and flavors of fresh white peach, grilled lemon, white tea, and wet crushed volcanic stone present themselves beautifully in the glass. On the mid-palate, you are treated with a lovely honey-coated pear and dried herb aspect that finishes strong. Just 346 cases made.
