Fermented for nine months in 35% new French oak, the 2010 Rochioli-Allen Vineyard Chardonnay starts off a tad reductive to start with striking aromas of matchstick, yellow nectarine, sweet toasted clove, fresh lemony herbs, and just a touch of yellow meadow wildflowers. A medium to full-bodied mouthfeel combines with lemony acidity and an almost tannin-like structure on the back palate. This is a gorgeous bottle of Chardonnay. 449 cases were produced.
