LIMERICK LANE White Wine, Russian River Valley ‘Failte’ 2021

I love the red wines coming out of Limerick Lane. They really are some of the best Zinfandel and Zin-based blends of wine coming out of Sonoma. And now, we are treated to a white wine from the winery that is a blend of 65% Grenache Blanc and 35% Viognier, and it’s a great bottle of wine. Notes of wet crushed limestone, ripe stone fruits, lemony herbs, and blanched hazelnuts are all present and combine wonderfully in the glass. The mouthfeel is rich and a tad oily, but it’s wonderfully fresh, and the elevated lemony acidity brings it all together on the finish. Just 126 cases were made.
