The 2020 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay saw 25% new French oak barrels for a total of 16 months and underwent 100% malo-lactic fermentation. Sporting a lovely light lemon core with a watery rim in the glass, the nose pops with aromas of scented lemons, acacia flowers, white tea, grilled citrus, and saline. A finish that goes on for ages, the racy acidity pairs perfectly with the cinnamon-coated stone-fruit finish. Highly recommended.
