The 2020 RRV Pinot Noir from Papapietro Perry is aged for 11 months in ⅓ new French oak barrels. Showcasing a glowing light ruby core with a bluish rim in the glass, it starts with fresh aromas of ripe red raspberries, stewed strawberries, cedary herbs, toasted cinnamon sticks, and dusty earth. The palate is pure Russian River Valley with a more fruit-forward red and blue-fruit aspect that hits the mid-palate and doesn’t let go. About 700 cases were produced.
