The 2019 Rochioli-Allen Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell saw 40% new French oak for a total of 15 months and sports a glistening medium neon ruby core with a blue-tinted rim. More earthy and herbaceous than some of its siblings, this one boasts notes of red and black cherries, mountain blueberries, wet slate, graphite, and toasted cinnamon powder. Tannins are smooth and round, while the elevated acidity carries the finish. 295 cases produced.
