Coming from the Cold Springs Vineyard in Howell Mountain, the 2019 Revana shows phenomenally well and is a huge, wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackberry jam, shaved chocolate, sweet Christmas spices, eucalyptus, toasted anise, and a hint of wet earth shine forth on the nose and on the palate. This concentrated and structured Cabernet possesses tremendous power and energy on the palate, with structured integrated tannin, lemony acidity, and a lengthy finish. Enjoy this beauty over the next 15 years or more. Better in 2024. Highly recommended.
