The 2020 Savoy Pinot Noir from Littorai is aged in about 20% new French oak for 16 months and never racked. Boasting a medium neon ruby core with a water rim in the glass, this distinct wine promotes notes of fresh red cherry, wild red raspberry, spiced red plum, dried pine nuts, wild mountain mint, violet flower petals, and just a smooch of new leather. It’s lean and crisp on the palate with high acidity, rounded medium tannins, and a medium body. Best in 2023, and then enjoy for a decade or more.
