The 2021 Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in 75% new French oak barrels and sports a deep purple core with a bright neon rim in the glass. Lovely and focused notes of blackberry pie, sweet cinnamon stick, black plum, old leather, sweet tobacco, and shades of dark chocolate waft from the glass. Tannins fall on the medium level and will need a year or two to soften, but the perfected levels of acidity balance everything out. Better in 2025 and then enjoy over the next 15 years. 400 cases were crafted. Highly recommended.
