The 2014 ‘Pentad’ by Seven Hills is a gorgeous bottling. The nose shows good herbal qualities with red bell pepper, sage and cocoa powder with copious dark fruits. The minerality and texture of the wine is really nice. Black tea, anise, creme de cassis and mocha flavors all come together nicely in the glass. A long-ager, this will cellar well for the next ten to fifteen years.
