Sourced from the Walla Walla Valley, they wine shows an inky color and settles in the glass with smoked brisket, blackberry cobbler and milk chocolate with minty undertones on the nose. The palate shows a good combination of weight and tension. Black tea, blackberry cobbler, mocha and Hoisin sauce flavors all marvelously combine on the palate. Fresh and downright delicious, this great effort will cellar well for the next decade. This shows a wonderful typicality for the varietal.
