The 2018 DAMA Wines Rose is another splendid effort from the talented Mary Derby and follows up her seriously good 2017 bottling. Very light in the glass, the wine unveils high-toned lemon zest and guava puree with red currant aromatics that impress once in the glass. The palate shows really good refinement as there is a Provencale feel to this beautiful new Rose bottling. Hints of pear and starfruit line red fruit and lemon zest flavors on the palate. Showing some really good range, this beautiful wine is gorgeous in its youth.
