The 2017 'Poet’s Leap' Riesling shows once again why this wine is truly one of the premier Rieslings in North America. This opens with beautiful aromatics of orange blossoms and melon, as well as a wet stone character. The palate is full of freshness, yielding a beautiful sense of minerality. Even more impressive is the near minute long finish. Beautiful in its youth, this should also continue to show well with some additional bottle age.
