The 2018 'Justine' is a fun, delicious blend by winemaker Chris Patterson. This blend of 61% Grenache, 23% Mourvèdre, 16% Syrah is fermented with 15% whole cluster and 100% native yeasts. The purity of fruit really shines in this wine as it is aged in 80% neutral French oak and 20% concrete. Perfumes of wild huckleberry, black raspberry, jasmine blossoms, brown sugar and evergreen pine meld beautifully with tastes of dark red fruits, dried italian spices, forest floor, barbequed beef ribs and ending with a finish of salty ocean spray. This wine is an incredible value for the price point. Only 310 cases made.
