This GSM blend of 46% Grenache, 24% Counoise, 25% Mourvèdre and 6% Syrah from the Columbia Valley is aged for 16 months in 100% French oak and sees 40% whole-cluster fermentation. A pop of cranberry and macerated strawberry are prominent on the nose with secondary characteristics of freshly cracked white pepper, rose water and chopped sage. The focused core contains flavors of ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, sweet baking spices, tilled earth and finishes with a wet-stone minerality. The silky tannins are already integrated in this gorgeous wine. 400 cases produced.
