A Washington Cabernet that is aged 22 months in French oak barrels with 22% being new. The wine has aromas of dark chocolate covered cherry, boysenberry and singed dried sage. The palate is full of black sour cherry, sweet baking spices, a touch of mint and espresso powder. A wine that needs another 2-3 years in bottle as the tannins are tightly wound, but the high acidity will help it come into balance very soon. 430 cases produced.
