This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Springfield Block that sees 60% new French oak for 23 months. A nose of black currant, black raspberry, licorice and a touch of smoke dance from the glass which leads to flavors of cherry fruit leather, dried blueberry, toasted sage and crushed black pepper. Tannis are tight so give this a few years to relax before enjoying. Only 150 cases produced.
