LOWER EAST Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley 2016

A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot that is aged 17 months in 18% new French oak puncheons and barrels. This wine opens up on the nose with aromas of blackberry jam, red cherry, fresh fig, ground cinnamon and just a touch of oak. Moving to the palate, flavors of fresh blackberry, boysenberry, dark baking chocolate, fresh vanilla bean form the beam of the wine. The tannins are integrated yet present and the acidity is high, while the finish is lengthy and delicious. 2040 cases produced.
