Coming from the highest portion of the Weathereye Vineyard on Red Mountain, this 100% Syrah is fermented in stainless steel and aged for 16 months in 25% new French oak and 500L puncheon. Think about what you love about perfectly crafted Syrahs from Washington state, and this wine delivers that in spades. Imagine notes of blackberry, elderberry, smoked game, black olive tapenade, pink peppercorn, grapefruit zest and smokey potpourri - all wrapped up in a bow alongside medium plus acidity and chalky tannins. Please do not open this before 2024 and then open a bottle each year for the next decade or so and watch how it develops. Only 96 cases produced.
