A blend of 88% Sangiovese with the rest being Cabernet Sauvignon, ages for 21 months in 40% new barrels, predominantly French oak. The nose bursts with fresh strawberry and raspberry aromas with hints of milk chocolate and dried thyme. Intense acidity and high tannins frame the wine on the palate with supporting flavors of red cherry, oak spices and dried poultry herbs. Give this another 2-3 years in bottle before opening as it needs some time. 191 cases produced.
