I have always loved Big Papa from Efeste. A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon wine that delivers aspects of black plum, cassis, black currant, dried poultry herbs, wet autumn leaves and sweet baking spices. This is an incredibly young wine that needs some time, as it’s tightly wound, but the promise is there. It has gorgeous acidity, chewy tannins, ample fruit and a lovely spicy finish. As with most of the Efeste red wines, give this a year or two in the cellar before enjoying.
