This 100% Sauvignon Blanc (Clone 27) is unfiltered and unfined and aged in 100% new French oak. Semi-translucent at its core with hay/straw hues toward the rim, it shows off aromas of violets, carnations, and guava. On the palate it is crisp and clean, carries ample acidity, and has a rich and slightly creamy mouthfeel. It is full of tropical fruit flavors, including honeydew melon, bananas, pineapple and mandarin orange. Balanced throughout, it has a wonderful lingering finish with hints of kaffir lime and sweetened grapefruit showing off late in the game. Only 3 barrels produced. A very enjoyable wine. Drink now or over the next 7-8 years.
