A glorious combination of 69% Syrah, 15% Grenache, 12% Mourvedre, and 4% Viognier produced an incredible bottle of Rhone-styled wine that is a dead-ringer for a southern Rhone GSM. Meaty and spicy notes of crushed black peppercorn, smoked beef ribs, dried mint, and black olives combine with blackberry and wild blueberry fruitiness. It’s a spicy, meaty, and balanced effort from the team at Rasa and one that should drink well for the next decade or more. Highly recommended.
