The 2020 Valery comprises 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc and is aged for 21 months in 28% new French oak barrels. Ripe red plum, black cherry, wet red clay, tilled earth, and baked cinnamon notes abound alongside cedary herbs and licorice root. Perfectly balanced with those traditional Merlot notes, it gifts ample acidity, rounded tannins, and a lovely red-fruited and spice-driven finish. 216 cases produced.
