A yummy blend of 88% Malbec and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon that is aged for 18 months in 28% new French oak barrels. Earthy and herbal to start, but the mid-palate quickly gives up notes of fresh fig, black cherry pie, sweet cinnamon stick, dried violets, and shades of old leather. Tannins are refined and sweet, while mouthwatering acidity brings a nice baked berry finish. A little over 300 cases were made.
