The 2021 Lumeire was aged in 50% new French oak for 14 months. A medium lemony core with a silver rim in the glass, this is a well-made and quaffable Washington Chardonnay. Rich notes of bruised apple, fresh pineapple, white nectarine, and toasted hazelnuts are all present and beautifully combined. The lengthy fruit-forward finish lasts for minutes. Only 469 cases made.
