The 2020 Archimage Reserve presents a gorgeous medium ruby core with a light purple rim. A blend of 55% Cabernet Franc and 45% Merlot that comes together wonderfully. The nose explodes with toasted clove, ground cinnamon, and just a hint of black licorice, while the palate is filled with flavors of purple rose petals, black cherry, roasted meat, and crushed black peppercorn. The lovely tannin structure aids the higher levels of acidity while it finishes with a lovely herbaceous note. Highly recommended.
