Another yummy bottle of wine from SOH that punches way above its price point. The 2020 Conjurer is a blend of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Cabernet Franc, and 17% Merlot and is aged for 11 months in 25% new French oak barrels. The nose starts with black fruit - think black plum, dried blueberry, and black raspberry. Secondary components of cassis, scorched earth, dried blueberry, and dried lemon peel sneak in on the palate. Crunchy tannins and a slightly gamey finish complete the wine.
