Mostly Cabernet Sauvignon with an additional 9% Cabernet Franc that is aged for 20 months in 60% new French oak. A shimmering dark purple core with a neon magenta rim is beautifully presented in the glass. The nose starts off with fresh blackberry, wild thimbleberry, dried mountain mint, and cedary herbs, but after time, dark chocolate, candied black raspberry, and mocha tones start to shine through. Crunchy tannins, medium plus acidity, and a spicy finish complete the wine. Better in 2024.
