70% new Oak is used on the 2020 Conner Lee Reserve Cabernet which gives it slightly more oak aromas and sweet spice tones on the pallet. It’s deeply colored, with a brooding dark purple core and a glowing light purple rim. Big notes of dark plum, crushed black cherry, cassis, toasted spice, black licorice, purple rose, leather, and tar pop on the nose and the palate. Full-bodied with sweet, crunchy tannins, it finishes long with a black-fruit-forward note. Better in 2024. 125 cases
