Showcasing a dark ruby-garnet core with a light purple rim in the glass, the 2019 Cabernet from Gramercy has fruit sourced primarily from Phinney Hill and Baccus Vineyards. It was aged in 100% French oak barrels, with 28% being new, which helps deliver those yummy toasted baking spice tones. Blackberries, cassis, and blueberry aromas compete with violet flowers and dried mint on the nose. Tannins are fined and integrated nicely, while the medium-plus acidity helps balance out the finish. About 2200 cases made. Better in 2024.
