A shimmering ruby-garnet core with a light pink rim in the glass, the L’Idiot du Village is fermented with 57% whole cluster fruit and aged in neutral barrels to allow the purity of fruit to shine through. Aromas of baked red currants, Bing cherries, and mountain herbs fill the nose. Striking black pepper notes fall on the palate to start and then move to bitter dried herbs on the finish. 400 cases made.
